Im just looking around hoping people can give me some ideas for rims on my 03 track edition. Its daytona blue and i bought it used, the guy before me painted the stock rims flat black. I like the black rims on the car, well i mean the color, this guy sucked at painting so its chipping, should atleast got them sandblasted. I was thinking maybe a chrome lip with a black center piece, maybe a whole chrome(probably too basic but idk), a full black rim or i even saw a gold lip with a black center piece, which everyone i told about that was wonder why i would throw gold anywhere on my car, idk it looked nice on another. Any ideas on rims? Maybe even pics of some ideas. Thanks.

Personally I am absolutely in love with the Axis Shine. I think they look amazing on any color Z.

Why not get your wheels refinished? Your current wheels are the lightest wheels for the Z. I believe they weigh around 18lbs each When you do decide on wheels, make sure to get light weight ones, or you will definitely feel the difference.

here is my vote.I am hoping to get this myself.

those wheels don't look stock? if you want wheels a different color, get them baked, not sprayed - which is why they are chipping i'm sure.

yea he didnt get them baked im sure of it. started coming off the day i got it from the dealer, and it deffinetely wasnt from me drifting everywhere i could the day i got it, was fun though cause they told me to come back in 2 days and get new tires, so i figured i needed to use the ones on it. I like them nismos alot, ive only seen silver and bronze, the are light and they're also wide which i really like when you see that from the back end.

I'm trying to do the same thing with my track rims. I've already talked to a shop that specializes in powder coating wheels. They said they'd to it for $65 a wheel for a satin black finish. My only problem is that i don't excatly want to put the z up on stands for a week. I have rims from my truck that has the exact same bolt patter as the z (114.3 x 5), but it wouldn't clear the brembos. F'ing sucks man! My plan b is to buy the nismo lmgt4's and have 'em powdercoated at the dealer for $85 a wheel.

Dont get axis, or volk! Thats the only wheels Z owners put on their car.... I say put some Work VS-XX wheels on and powder coat them all black slam and have the tire tuck in a little and now thats what route i would go... Or you could just be another Z owner and get some Axis Hero's or Nismo wheels or some volks! CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY!
