Welcome to NICO.

Any coupe kit should fit fine. The rear bumper on a hatch won't fit without modification.

As for what kit to go with....well, you get what you pay for. I went with an Origin kit this time around after many cheap ebay kits. I will never go back. The quality of my origin kit is outstanding, and much more resistant to abuse.

In the end it is up to you, but I suggest staying with a name brand when it comes to body kits. You will thank yourself when it fits properly and doesn't crack on the first speed bump.

cool.. right on for the advice.. i got my eyes on this kit.. dunno if its good brand or not.. pretty cheap though.. $450 shipped.. company made is Aero, kit name is drift.. looking at the price, im guessing its generic. but i love the look of it... I would pay a little extra for one that wouldnt break on me though.. Does this kit on ebay look ok? or has anyone seen this kit made with better material?

Welcome to NICO! That is a nice looking style body kit...I'm sure one of these guys on here can tell you what the name brand equivalent would be. Just like the others have said...you would do a lot better to get a name brand kit, better made, better fitment, more durable. Keep us posted and welcome again!

I agree for the most part with the "you get what you pay for" argument. This seems to be true with all of the S13 body kits I have seen fitted.

How ever, I have seen Origin product fit like 10 year old clothes on an S14. A friend purchased 100% genuine Origin equipment (everything from body kit to corner lights, bumper lights, etc) and NOTHING fit properly with out a good amount of body work. My brother, on the other hand, purchased an ebay Version style kit for his s14, and that fit WONDERFULLY.

This is just the nature of fiberglass molds. A new, fresh mold will produce good quality, fitting pieces. Old molds produce incredibly crappy pieces. Usually, more expensive products (aside from being the original style) replaces molds more frequently insuring quality. But thats just from the research I've done and situations I have seen.

The other thing that needs to be said is, find a nice set of wheels and get a nice stance set before you buy a body kit. I hate seeing random civics/cavaliers/crappy cars with body kits with an other wise stock car. Please don't commit such a horrendous crime on a vert.

Good luck with your project, sorry for the novel and keep us updated!

can't you piece something together with 180sx/s13 front end and sideskirts and a silvia rear bumper? Also you absolutely get what you pay for, you might get that kit for $450 but how much are you going to spend to get it to fit and look right?
