I currently have a greddy type rs. With my old turbo I wouldnt flutter at all but with the new turbo no matter how much I tighten or loosen it still flutters. Anybody have any problem with the tial? Any recomendations? Thanks

FYI You cannot recirculate the Tial BOV.

Have you tried a different spring in the RS? Where is your vacuum source taken from? What turbo did you have/now have?

HKS TYPE 1. Has 2 ports and has worked with no problems. There is a write up for the Greddy with problems you mention.

I had a t3 super 60 now I have a precision t3/t4 .48ar 57 trim. I get my vacuum from the brake booster line. I am no to worried about recirculating the bov

Greddy Type RS BOVs SUCK!!!

They dont hold boost, they leak, they surge, the diaphragms rip, the valves get stuck. We destroyed like 10 of them before we gave up.

Tial BOVs are awesome. We use them on almost all of our builds. They dont really have a distinct sound but thats not why you "should" buy one. They flat out work!

Does the tial have a adjustment screw? The reason why I ask is because I dont want to have to mess around with that like I do the greddy tyoe rs. Thanks

No adjustment screw. One BOV fits most. For super high boost applications, they sell a higher pressure spring. We have never used one though and run 50+ psi on some of our setups.

Thats good to know Ivan... Wish I had known before my best friend bought one..

The old Greddy Type S is a pretty standard BOV for most applications. I currently run one now... It is a direct swap.

When I go to a T04R, I will be using a TiAL 50mm..

The Greddy type S BOV was awesome. I loved that BOV and am sad they are no longer available. There is honestly not one single BOV on the market right now for recirc applications that I like.

I run the JGS By-pass valve and it seems to work really well. Seems to be built really since it is pretty heavy, not that you can tell by that but you know what I mean. Since it is a push/pull type valve it does not leak under boost and it was designed to be Recirc. Has a nice sound to boot

Yea true that. The DSM stockers tend to be pretty decent.

The market now is aimed at sound makers anymore.. Every BOV has twenty different noise makers you can bolt on the front of it to whistle every song you want.. It reminds me of ring tones...

I would say something like Peak boost or the bosch valves, but I don't like how they are flanged...

we use the tial 50mm bov in all our builds it is the most effective bov on the market only problem on the nissan is the recirc for the maf sensor. the tial might not sound as good as the greddy but it is a much better performing unit.

I am not to worried about the recirc feature since i have the aem ems and a map sensor. I ordered the bov today from ams we will see what happens when it gets in.
