im in need of borrowing an engine hoist!

i'm in need of help! i need an engine hoist to move my engine + transmission from my van into my garage! anyone know where i can rent one!

find a rafter in your garage. put in a badass hook. Then get 2pulleys. put on eon the hook and one hanging with a dangling hook on it. put a rope on it and put the rope on a 1-way ratcheting crank like you would for a boat-trailer. bam.. your'e all set. Thats how we pulled my motor!

dam talk about dangerous! i wouldnt be able to do that in my old *** garage... my sh*t will collapse lol

i think you might be able to rent one from like kragen [i think it was kragen?] buy putting down a deposit, then when you return the hoist, they give you your deposit back.

i called kragens around my area and they dont rent it. they only rent the chains.
