ok so after putting a poly bushing kit. coilovers and all the suspension arms in the rear i sent my car to get aligned after setting the ride height i wanted. the car came back with positive camber in the front to the tune of 0.8 on both sides. now the rear is perfectly okrunning about 2 degrees negative. i popped the hood to check the camber plates and they are set to negative. mind you all the installation was done by my father who is a certified bmw mechanic. now what he says is that ive set the car so low that due to geometry of the suspension it started to push the wheels positive instead of negative, now i dont know if this is correct. his solution is to buy front control arms so that i can adjust my camber further. is this the only solution i have? what could this problem be due to? thank you for your time and input

if you have coilovers, most of them should be slotted at the bolt holes to the knuckle. just loosen it and push or pull it in more and retighten. then realign it. if not make a slot on your strut where it mates to the knuckle

well the coilovers dont have slotted holes where they bolt up the the knuckle. oh and they are made by D2.

sometimes you steering rack can be pushed over. this is the case of my track car. also some suspension parts can be warped. like my friend drifted one of my stock 240s one night and hit a curb. the car drove straight untill i put coilovers, camberplates, new tierods, etc.. after doing this i noticed the camber was way off.

i believe i read somewhere there was a fix for this problem with a certain tie rod...as a matter of fact..i think it was an article in D-sport..or Project car magazine...i save all my issues and ill look for the article and give the info i find..may take some time thou...if i remeber corectly..the tie rod had an adjusted (raised) mounting serface that corected the issue...give me a few days to find the info.
