This is usually correct, but it could be the regular temp sensor also...

Stupid question, but does the motor turn over every time?

well llike i said the car will start one time and will keep running until you cut it off ,after which it wont start back up,it literally has to cool completely down before it will start again.now i know yall said something about a temp regulator, where is it located.and is it a easy fix.currently i am going to replace the starter on the car

An example of "turning over" without motor start. Does your car still do this?

I only ask because it seems like you don't understand that your starter may still work and the engine just isn't starting up.

when i turn my key the only thing that happens is the fuel pump primes, thats it.there is no noise from the starter at all.its like the car doesnt even attempt to start.

Well the cylinder head temp sensor does not keep the starter from working, it actually works on the injectors.

You're on the right track with a new starter motor.

Ahhh........... I retract my previous cylinder head temp. sensor statement, you made it sound like it was turning over but just not catching.

It most likely is something to do with the starter or the wiring to it, since the car is not even turning over. This is a long shot, but it wouldn't hurt to check the factory anti-theft to be sure it is working properly or completely disabled, as I had that cause starting issues in an 88 Z I had a few years ago.

The anti-theft is easy, just unplug the device under the seat!

Check electrical connections. Remove grounds and reconnect them
