I've got an '07 sedan tail that I got for cheap (to practice cracking open...) so I might try and fit it just to see exactly what needs to be modded to make it a successful fit...

I'll be the first to say that I wanted to do this too, but they don't fit. Here's a pic of a sedan tail on my coupe. The reason my arm is in the pic is because you can't even get it to balance there. The retainer clips are in a different place, the mount location on the car is bigger, it just doesn't work. Sorry.

There is a way you might be able to get it working, kind of. Think of the tail as 3 pieces, the top lens, middle reflector and bulb holder, and the base that snaps onto the car. If you used the base and top part from a coupe, you could do something different with the middle piece, but its not like you could drop a sedan one in there. You'd have to do a fully custom made piece. I've been tossing this idea around, but haven't really done any prototypes.

wow gli those lights would have been epic lol i want a pair. maybe u should send depot some shots and maybe they can make the light. Thats exactly what i'm looking for. I would paint the accents gunmetal instead of silver though.

Gli is already going to start producing those lights in custom painted colors, he doesnt need Depo to make them for him.

Those are actually pretty cool looking - I'm wondering if they are a complete new product, or if they were retroed...

ok for an update no body shop in northern nj will do the custom swap cuz the gas cap is too close and apparently removing the tank is out of the question to them so im not gonna bother anymore with them so im selling the lights for 200 what i paid for them and ill ship them to anywhere in the continental us for free

it was good while it lasted. time to retro your own pair of coupe lights to look like sedan's instead of trying to use the wrong pair of tailights. A- for creativity though

those are nice!! ive never really been a fan of like clearish-gray taillights..but i think these would look great on my black coupe..does everyone think they are safe to buy? i really think i want to rush into this one with only 2 available
