I live near Tampa and know of a Tommy Kaira (spelling?) R33 that I am pretty sure is dead, last I heard there was an accident, haven't seen it since. Also, there is a white R34 GTS in Lakeland w/ some God aweful bodykit, though it is a skyline. And have heard rumors of an R32 roaming around the area as well... I am sure Hot Import Nights in St. Petersburg will showcase any in the area. If not there is always HIN Orlando and Miami

Some guy here in Butler owns a white R32 RHD.

Dunno how he got it or anything but its here for sure...unless for some dumba$$ reason he had enough money to swap front and rear ends on a S14 and convert it to RHD.

So yea...there is a JDMtyte Skyline in Butler PA. But honestly it is in pretty good condition from what I could tell. (not that helps you any being in Florida and all...just thought I should post to get your hopes up! JK)

what year/mileage/auto-stick is this skyline?

I know of about 7-8 skylines actively driven in the state of texas.

There could be a few more

Ok is it true that skylines are ILLEGAL to own in the U.S?

I thought you couldnt register them and drive them on the street legaly and they had to be track only?

It's only illegal if you get caught. :

Any car is legal to drive so long as it complies with DOT rulesfor safety and whatnot...according to what I heard the big reason it's not in the States to begin with is because it would be expensive to federalize the car. People that import them have to fix up the car so it can take the 5MPH and 30MPH tests and whatnot and meet emissions. Once that's all taken care of, it's driveable like your neighbor's Civic.

oh dang that really sucks for you all, theyre the most common car on the scene where i live. in fact in my home town there is a valley where alot of people go to park up and car chat which is nicknamed "skyline valley" theyr a awesome sounding car but ya do get abit sick of them, we have a heap of other skyline powerd cars around to, laurels, cefiros etc. very popular and extremely cheap for parts, i got most of my parts nearly free for my cefiro, very good cars to drift because of the avability. could buy a non turbo skyline for about $700usd

Anyone near Gateway Int'l. Raceway tomorrow night can see mine and probably a R34 GTS (maybe even a R33 GT-R) there at Midnight Madness.
