Yeah its bad but im making it the NUMBER ONE PRIORITY before it really gets out and driven. I dont want any more stress on it than necessary.raven2345 wrote:woo some of that rust is nasty.
Yeah my 240 ( vert in the background ) also has perfect frame rails and body. Its a good feeling. I just need clear coat on the hood =/s13importuner7 wrote:wow that rust is pretty bad . im so glad to have a rust free 240. i love that widebody though!
Too many people just toss 240's aside because they are rusted. I want to put one more 240 back on the road. I cant just scrap it. You have to have a little faithChris28 wrote:It's going to cost about 8k in parts and labor to fix that rust. I'd get a new shell, don't even waste your time or money on this one.
But gl with the vert.ashibah83 wrote:you WILL NOT be ablw to do all that stuff for 8K....i can prove it, i have reciepts, and still a stock KA24DE
I agree with starting with a better starter shell. But if you want to save a 240 from being tossed aside, you should buy my hatch. The frame rails are in great condition. a spot of rust in the passenger floor board has already been repaired. The problem with mine is that the driver side strut tower is rusted and pulling away from the frame. I would think that would be easier to fix than those frame rails...ahskeetskeet wrote:
