what ever happened to the guy that was going to HHO his 240sx and then do a write up. From my personal research rotary motors are well designed to run off of hydrogen being that the intake and exhaust do not share the same area keeping intake temps down, so you won't preignite the hydrogen.

3k?

Is this thread gonna be all talk, or does somebody actually have a link to someone complaining about pre-ignited hydrogen?

AFAIK, this hasn't actually been shown to happen yet due to the fact the gas is mixed into the fuel...

Its actually called HH0 because pure HO is a ticking time bomb, cool stuff, any car can be done with some time and about 2500 bucks. Good for not wanting to buy gas anymore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX6CnNc3CFU

2500? most DIY hho setups boast that you can buy materials for less than 30.

One I read used graphite as the prods in the water to conduct the current.

I read about the GEET engine where the only oil is to prime the engine to start. That was interesting.

If this technology is so old and "works soooooooooo good". Why aren't they more common place. I have a friend who fixes and sells metros/swifts so maybe we will mess with this over the summer.

because its not really tested or approved, plus hydrogen scares the hell out of people even though its only HH0 which is relatively safe. But its not DOT approved and big oil influences the right people.

I have a 1986 GMC Sonoma I might puts with this idea for that.

i dont have any sort of lip kit, if you were talking about me...well what ive heard about this system is that it will cause your motor to fail over time, and have EXPENSIVE damage.

thats the big one right there. my father has it on his 03f250 turbo diesel and he says it gets a little bit better gas mileage then before but he's only had it on the truck for a week. and i think his was free cause he used stuff we just had laying around our shop

Is this using HHO and fuel or just HHO because pure HHO is what cost money, going but using it in addition to gas is cheaper. As low as 50 bucks, but to do it right you want to make sure you ECU is calculating for the added HHO gas.

we need didderson in here, he's running an HHO injected set up in his b13.

fwiw, i'm referring to running hydrogen as a fuel, not a supplement, in a rotary engine
