I got my 240 and swapped it because, about 2 years ago a friend of mine got in an accident and got some insurance money and he was talking about SR this and SR that. of course i thought it was stupid seeing how i didnt even know what it was..... but when he got the car out of the shop and let me drive it.... it was over from there. chirping 5th gear with no effort running 13.9 at the track with basic bolt ons, rear wheel drive, blow off valve screaming in my face....the list keeps on going...from the second i was done driving his car i knew i had to have one.

so what made you guys decide

Im not much of a Nissan fan or loyalist, but I happen to really like the Q45. If the Q45 was made by Buick, Lexus, Cadillac, or Audi, I'd still like it.

i did a great deal of research before i bought my s13. but my main things were reliability, handliing, rwd, and styling. i just love the styling of the s13, i think it has a very unique style all its own. just sexy. gotta love the flipup headlights too.

It was either an FC or S13, whichever one I stumbled upon first.

I first owned a Toyota truck and had always liked how the 4runner looked. A friend of my owned a brand new one and let me drive it. I was disappointed with the handling and wasnt comfortable driving it. It was a bummer moment for me, to say the least.

Since then, Ive still liked the style, but not the manufacturer. I like imports and tried the Pathy. HOOKED! I've been happy ever since. Its been my most favorite car to date. http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/...age=1

Well, it started in the late 80's for me. My uncle had an 87 Nissan Pathfinder, and an 84 (I think) Maxima. In 90, my dad bought an SEV6 extended cab 4X4...so we kinda had a Nissan Family.Well, in 97, I enlisted in the Navy, and after boot camp, needed a car to drive me to San Diego, and I came across a 90 hatch. Had some miles on the clock, but was a 5 speed and RWD...sold!!! Had the car for 5 years, even while I was stationed here in Japan, kept the car in storage, and bought some aftermarket parts...cam, header, exhaust, suspension from Japan, and other little ad ons...Now I live in japan, and guess what, I own a Nissan...I love it.

I didnt even know what kind of car mine was when I bought it. I just blew the motor on my 69 Ford Ranger and saw a nice 5 spd sittin on the lot next to my dads shop. About a week later it was mine. Lovin it ever since.

Friend of mine showed me a S13 coupe about 4 years ago, and told me about drifting and turbos and whatnot... Now I have one (no turbo yet though, damnit)

Rear wheel drive, light, decent speed, good handling, looks awsome, and pretty rare. That about sums it up for me.

Well to be honest, at the time it was the only 2plus2 in a 500 mile radius that was in decent shape. But .... after I drove it I was in heaven!

my uncle is pure nissan and i wanted to step up from the miata i had, imo the 240 is like a notch above stock, little more power, maybe better handling, but it also has much more potential

Well, in regards to my S14 in particular, I've always wanted one. I had only bought my previous two cars (99 Prelude and 2k4 WRX) because there weren't any nice Koukis on the market at the time.

As for what turned me onto Nissans to begin with? That has to be back when the Z32TT first came out. I was like 8, and I thought it was the sweetest thing I'd ever seen (until I saw my first NSX, lol).

The 300ZX turned me to Nissan. I was too poor to afford the Z32 so I turned to the lighter more nimble version, the 240SX and haven't regretted it. I still do plan on getting a Z32 however.

Fell in love with the S14 when I was about 14 years old... about time for my first car I couldn't find one in decent shape, sadly... one day I show up and BAM, the Sentra was sitting in the garage. I freaked out, initially, thinking "Oh God.. a Sentra!?" Then I drove it and started to like it a bit... checked the internet for more info and have really started to love the car. Still wish I had an S14, but this car is definitely a keeper. If it's possible to do FWD econo-box right, this is it.

It'll be a good daily for when my project starts a few years from now .

The first car I owned that I got to drive for a long period of time was an 89 Sentra. (First car, 84 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham didn't last long) I beat the hell out of my Sentra, took it places it was never meant to go, got it stuck in a ditch on two seperate occasions, but the damn thing kept going strong. I gained alot of respect for Nissan, and at the time, Nissan still wasn't very popular; everybody wanted a Honda. The more I learned about cars and driving, the more I wanted RWD, so the S13 was my next move.

My next car is most likely going to be a WRX, hopefully STI, but I think I might try to get a G35 at some point.

Well I got a 240SX because I'm obsessed with sports cars. I was either going to get an S5 FC or a fastback 240sx because I like the long hood, short deck look that many late 70s and 80s sports cars had. I almost bought a 260Z but it sold before I got a chance to look at it and talk to the seller. I kinda wanted to stay efi and have a fastback so I narrowed down to S13 240 and FC but I was open to some others. I've always liked NISSANs so I was kinda biased towards the '40. Then one day I did my daily 'check of the classifieds' and saw my soon to be car...It was such a good deal I bought it the next day. Oh and a ZTT was out of my price range. One more thing...I'm a sucker for good ol' pop up headlights .

It all started 2 years ago at 3am in the morning. I was looking for a car that was reasonaly cheap priced and was reliably. This was going to be my first car and I wanted it to last. So I was looking on some audi dealerships webpage and then I saw the 240. I wetn and test drove one and it had such tight steering, I was sold.

I was born into Nissan. My Mom had an old Datsun ??? and she totaled it when I was 3 years old with me in the back seat (in Indy). She then bought an 84 200SX and I used to think it was the coolest car because it talked (right door is open, fuel is low, key is in the ignition).

Then she bought a Jeep, and I went on to own a Saturn and an 02 Grand Prix GTP before getting hired on with Infiniti and buying a 99 I30 Limited. My Mom's transmission went at 100k on the Jeep and I immediately gave her my I30 and bought an '02 Civic (which my girlfriend now drives) and my 90 Q45 the same day. I was always a Nissan fan, but I began to favor the Infiniti division because of their philosophy in customer satisfaction. I just thought it was cool to have a great product and have great service to back it up. I'll drive an Infiniti forever!

I grew up in an mostly Nissan family. My dad's employer gave him an Alty to drive on a long business trip back in the early nineties, and he liked it so much that he went shopping for one soon thereafter (needed a replacement for the '84 Nova anyway). He found a Max that had been a demo, had something like 40 miles on the odo, for the same as an alty, so he went with that instead. My grandpa has always had a Frontier and a Pathy in the garage for as long as I can remember. So I just sort of have Nissan in my blood. Although, as one person once put it, I don't like Nissan because I'm brand loyal, I like nissan because they make good cars. Plus, when someone gives you a free performance sedan, you tend to take it...right?
