YOU DO NOT NEED AN AUTOMATIC $3K ON A FY33!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have owned 3 FY33's (4 if you count my junker) and they didn't need anything!!! I did however replace things (shocks, spark plugs, brakes) to maintain them well. But this was because I want them to last forever i would not have replaced anything if i had planned on keping them for 2-3 years.

Also, $2K for a 1997, even with 350K is a decent deal. I would wait and jump on one that has 150K to 200K there seems to be some sort of psychological hold on cars with less than 150K with correspondingly higher prices.

How long do the transmissions last on these cars? Driveshaft? Differential? I would think by 200K all these are near the end of their useful lives????

I have to say some one who buys ANY CAR no matter the service history for $2000 with 350K is out of there mind, No offense but you have to think of it logically I mean if I ever see a Q45 go for 1 Million miles which any car can go with enough money and over dose on maintenance I will be happy.

But from me, I think its waste of money for such a car.

Well, the car in question has 350K on all of those components and I have 240K on the original transmission and rear end on my car. So...If you buy a car with 200K and drive the national average you could get 3-10 years on the car before all those parts begin to break-if they ever do.
