this is a intake design that im working on building. I'm really bored at work so I thought I'd just use "paint" to give you a general idea of how it would look. Trust me, the actual drawn out plans look way better .

This kit would require relocating the battery just a little bit.

Red square: were the battery would be relocated.Blue: cone filter inside the heatshieldBlack: The heatshield (it will have a cover on top, but you couldn't see the fillter in the drawing with it)White: The pipe running to the throttle body.

Drawings are not actual size

Think it is just assumed it is much easier to buy an intake. Though draw skillz are the awesomes.

MS paint ftw.

Those bends in the piping do look rather sharp. Good luck, it'd be interesting to see how it compares to the CAI options for the Versa.

I made a custom intake for my car years ago as one was never available. Took a CAI pipe from a Honda Accord, sawed off the part I didn't need and used a K&N filter on the end.

yeahhhh

So we looked into it a little more this weekend and figured out a way to use two 45 degree angles instead of one 90 degree and one 45 degree, and we wouldn't have to relocate the battery. Things would be a little tighter fit though. I really look forward to doing this and posting the completed pics.
