What up people!? Ya boy Tek is back once again. Havent been to this board in long while and theres good reason for that. I once owned a 1992 Nissan 240sx LE back in 2000. Had the car for about 2 maybe 3 years, modified it to my liking, Apexi cat back exhaust, hella fog lights, some interior mods, sony dash unit, 2 10" subs, etc, etc, etc. Well in the spring of 2000 I purchased my new vehicle a 1998 Ford F150 XLT 4X4, so I gave the Nissan to my moms and switched it back to stock selling all the parts. Well, recently my Ford was stolen and has yet to be recovered so Im back rollin the 240sx. I must say driving the 240sx is a blast from the past and I do like it. Question is, should I keep it and really do some serious work to it or just use it temporarily till I invest in a new car. Hence, another car payment. Both my truck and the Nissan are paid off! Would it be worth it to turn it into the street racer I once wanted but couldnt afford to build untill now? Its got some minimal body damage that I plan to get fixed along with adding a body kit. (new hood, door skin, front fender, and shave off that hideous stock wing) The interior is in decent shape, but i need a new drivers side seat and a back seat, which are both grey leather, due to some rips and tearing. Its a 1992 DOHC with 107K miles on the original engine. How long do the nissan engines last on those things, and would it be worth it to put in all the work I plan to do, if I keep it?? Its been awhile but i believe it can be turned into a killer street ride. If you guys have any helpful information, lemme know!
