Hey everyone made it to florida , and just got my new ride a 94 caddy deville , got a good deal on it as it had a few problems , so im gonna fix her up for a few months and once im tired of life in the gereatric lane ill move on back to nissan but for now im going to enjoy the caddy , life with a big car is kinda fun

heres a link to herhttp://photostore.automark.net...E.JPG

ill keep poping by , by the way does anyone know where i can go to get help with a pesky "service ride controll" code? looks like the pillows on top of the struts are shot but im not positive yet , between those and the motor mounts ill be busy for a few days

oh and i need a name for her , shes a big girl so i need a name for a very large but graceful woman to dub my new rig

and as you all know i couldnt have gotten this with makeing fun of her , so in my rear window sits a "viagra motorsports" hat , tomorrow i get my next mod , a bottle of geretol for the rear window

any modification plans? i assume the suspension is really soft and so is the ride. put some stiff suspension and old school five spoke wheels and take that baby to the track!

nope no mods on tap , putting the kenwood reciviver out of my G in it and then just gonna focus on whipping her into shape...that is untill someone shows me suspension kits for her , but being a 4.9 front drive caddy i dont have much hope as to finding a suspsion kit to keep it from laying on its door handles in a turn , shes just a very pretty big lady , unlike tinos moms

tino i wouldnt say much , only had the car for 5 hours , and already me and your moms have broke in the huge rear seat , afterwards the "service suspension" message went on my display , sending her a bill for the collapsed accumulators

oh and take it easy on me Q45 kids , ill stay in the right lane , youll know its me , it will be the only caddy in the world that travels in the right hand lane , im no match for the mighty Q ship

Ok, I had some coffee, here are a few more

Cruella (Deville)

Titanic (Big, luxurious and hopefully dates will go down on you during their first cruise). Okay I'm sinking fast...

Phyllis (as in Fill this - you'll say it often at the gas pump)

Geri (short for Geritol)

Actually my father in law recently traded his Sedan De Ville after having it for many years. He loved it.I also have a coworker who owns the same car except in blue. He said it's a wonderful turnpike cruiser/roadtrip vehicle. Enjoy the car...

Ok I like Cadillacs unfortunatly I haven't owned one without a whole bunch of problems. Make sure if you change the radiator fluid you put those pellets that go in the radiator and protect all the aluminum parts.

Hey how about Old yeller. Just don't shoot it when it catches raibes

::hmm::

my mom's lincoln has the same problem, on the dash (has a readout for generic problems) it always says "check ride control" she brought it back to the dealer and had the ENTIRE airbag suspension replaced along with all the electronic controllers and related **** all under warranty:D...and it still says "check ride control"

well good luck with getting rid of that check ride shiz....

the world would be a scary place if a turbo deville was running around , hell it came with a strut tower brace from the factory , tho a paxton/novi supercharged caddy is something ive heard about

i came back to avoid ice at all cost , now i have to avoid bad drivers , this thing doesnt stop like a G20 and everyone seems to think im 95 years old and im not going to care or go the speed limit , little do they know what lurks behind the steeringwheel

the horn RULES!!!!!! im takeing the horn off and putting it on my next car

And I am here to save the day! Well, my pops ows a 93 Cadillac STS, Northstar v8, 4.6....i think, cuz i kno the 4.9 was a pushrod, but ne ways. ere you gohttp://www.cadillacforums.com/I post there frequently. Ohyah, there is a supercharger for it out there, but its in the area of 7k or so. What you can do for mod is get two dynoflow, or flowmaster, or magnaflow exhausts, then get 2.5 in pipng for your exhaust system, it sounds nice, throaty, but not like the typical v8, is awesome, ask the old folks on the forums there, teyll answre questions. My dad has the srvice ride control deal too. We also had to get new motor mounts on it. Over all, it is pretty good and fast for aheavy *** car like that. We like spanking mustangs, civics, and such. Hope you enjoy it, cuz i do. Its way more comfortable than te small imports we drive.DAMN THIS KEYBOARD TO HELL!
