Ok so i first started with the 18in g35 sport rims......SOLD

Next i bought the Moda MD 2's 18in - Discontinued - FOR SALE !!!!!!zer...rfect

I now want the Konig Afterburners in black with the neo chrome lip.

link in the 240 section zerothread?id=340228

My car is retarted with all its lights right now and hell im thinkin y not go all out. Not everyone like the style im going for but i dont care. These rims were posted once before by someone and ALOT of people said some "gay" remarks. So please dont say anything stupid.....thanks.

My problem with these rims are idk if i should just say f it and go baller status 20's or stick w/ some racing rims 18's. LMK what u guys think and if you wanna buy my old rims email me [email protected]

I personally think that there are very few cars where 20"+ rims look ok, but you seem to have a flashier style than most so get what pleases you. The only thing that sucks is moving all that extra wheel weight around but I don't know if gas mileage and acceleration are priorities for you.

P.S. 3 sets of wheels doesn't make you a wheel whore and getting replica brand rims doesn't give you baller status.

to pull off that neo chrome, a car should have like 400+ hp

I was looking at those, they were in my top 5. I think they'll look good with your black coupe. Get the size YOU want bro.

He has a 1995 m3 and he rebuilt it plus he has a 99 gsx awd and thats turboed too. He said he could build me a solid turbo setup thats everything with a max of 2-2.5g's so im deff down for this as long as i can make the $ to do so

Like a sweet azz lip like my dream rims are the gram lights or the volks in white but there to much and the white ones i was lookin at idk if i wanna have white u know.....and blk is ehhh played out i want something diff i mean come on u know me by now im retarted i like stupid s*** lmao

lol thats wat i told my friend i just thought it was kinda funny......i agree with you thats y im asking for your opinions.....like idk if 20s would look dumb bc of the style of these rims. And i do have that retarted style with this car already so i feel like i CAN pull it off i just want ur opinions. and no they wont be "baller status" but its kinda lol bc there 20s lol

Why would you spend 1,800 on Konigs, then?

For the neo chrome?

You can get some authentic and light weight wheels for that much.

theres nothing wrong with them though so i dont get why it matters. I like the look of the neo chrome and these were the better deal i looked at the t1's and they are only in 17s or they dont have the right ones for our car from what i saw.

What authentic/light weight wheels would you go for then ??

See i want something not alot of people have or is something different yet i can still pull off. Ide love to get white rims but idk how they would hold up and on top of that they will get dirty really easy so idk man i like these everytime ive seen them on cars at shows they stand out and it grabs alot of attention. Im not going to spend 4gs on gram lights or volks. I tried to find a cheaper set of volks i like but none so yea i like the konigs bc of the not to expensive price and look i dont give a s*** about the weight im not racing the damn car its supposed to get me from point a to point b and for me its supposed to look good in doing so. Im trying my best "financially" to make a showcar, i dont care how fast it is. The main reason ide get a turbo is bc itd be diff if i wanted speed i woulda got a fast car. I bought a four cyl that looks sexy as hell and f*** if i wannna make it go waaaaaa pshhhhhhhhh wen i shift ill buy a f***in turbo but until than i dont care bout weight unless its like a significant ammount.

sorry for my rant ur catchin me at a really bad time right now but seriously what would you reccomend like brands/ and or a neo chrome rim

I tell you what dude. The Konig's are the strongest set of rims Ive ever owned. I've even had BBS and even 3 piece SSR GT3's. All top quality rims. Konigs really are tough, strong, rigid rims. I have hit curbs. Accidentally park to close. Make a turn wrong in a low lit parking lot, catch the edge of a parking barrier. I've hit large potholes, train tracks, and uneven spots of road, extremely hard. I have knicks, scrapes, and gouges out of spots in my rims, after all, they have been driven 2 years in earthquake country. The roads suck. After all this time, I still haven't bent a rim. No matter how I treat them, or the little mistakes I make, they just take it and keep on spinning. I highly recommend Konigs. I would also go bigger than 18's The wheel well on these cars SWALLOW 18" and under rims. Hurry and pick what you like though, they like to discontinue models like nobodies business.

Dude..ED fenders are fiber glass..there is no such thing of rolling fiberglass fenders..only cutting them with a cut off wheel. Becarefull though, that lip is what gives the fender strength and rigidness...cut that too much and you'll have flimpsy fenders

Authenticity is what makes a car unique IMO. Therefore, in some peoples minds, Konigs is not the way to go. Specially in the car show industry where people know the difference.
