i just bot a 240sx off my buddy, an automatic 95' and im swapping a rb25det in there along with a manual trans, would i have to drill my own hole into the firewall or, i heard from my professor that car manufacturers don't build two different firewalls for one car just because of its transmission. is that true? and is there anyone in the Chicago area to help? that has a 240 with a SR20? and also beside from the stuff that comes with the rb25det engine what else do i need?

rb25det-engine,turbo,maf,ecu,manual trans,etc...

do i need-skyline r33 gauge cluster -what clutch, and break cylinder to get from -greddy mani-etc?

im confused..all cars only have one firewall..when you swap an rb in you dont have to mess with your firewall as far as i know..post this in the rb section on the forum

Your professor obviously doesn't know what he's talking about if he makes a general statement like that. Besides, the 240sx and Skyline are two different cars with two different trannys.
