You can put them on your stock struts, but they will wear out a lot sooner, and chances are your stock struts have seen better days. Everyone is going to say save for coilovers, and frankly that is the best choice, but if you have to do a spring/strut combo i'd say go for KYB struts and your choice of spring, though I've heard good things about ground controls.

get coilovers.

eibach's are ok but it depends what kind of driving you do. if you are going to dd it then they might work. but if your planning on tracking it then you might wanna save up more and get a decent set of coilovers. im bearing with my 17yr old stock suspension till i get enough money to get some kts coilovers. if you do get coilovers save up and get some good ones or you'll regret it later!!! kts, stance, cusco, and apex are all pretty good and are about the same money.

save up and buy the right part once, you can do it

dude coilovers are a performance part, and performance parts are not cheap. kts are about as cheap as it gets for quality. there $1125 shipped. and there steel bodied so you wont hav to worry about the body warping like aluminum ones will if you drive on crappy streets. the only thing that is cheaper than that is ground control sleeve overs on a nice set of tokiko or koni struts. that set up will cost you around $900 or so. but its not that much more for a quality coilover. im still saving up for mine, but i dont want to cheap out and go with k-sports like my buddy with an mr-2 did and have to pay even more because the piston seal blew. you get what you pay for. just dont go with- godspeed, megan racing, or any other sub $1000 coilover. cuz they'll suck and you'll regret it!!

oh yeah and kyb struts suck. some ppl swear by em. but i went on an all weekend run on my buddys ranch w/my previous 240 and after about 2hrs the pistons got too hot and there was strut fade. the shocks stopped being stiff and after that they were never as good as when i first got em. just a lil advice

im not saying this stuff cuz i think im a suspension guru or anything, im just going off previous experiences and friends experiences. my buddy haz a z32 and he got the KTS coilovers. i want them because i was impressed at the build quality of the product and the test drive really opened my mind as well.

go to SPLparts.com and see what im talking about. KTS coilovers
