Well its 2am and i went down to the garage to get a drink and i decided to go snooping for presents too. well in the back corner there were some boxes that id never seen before. now our garage is a mess so it wouldnt have been noticable unless i was snooping. i get over there and i see 4 boxes of equal sizes. "hmmm they look a little like boxes rims would come in" i thought. on the sides in marker it said like 'bookshelf' or something. so i was like eh, oh well. upon better inspection i saw a shipping code. i guess my dad forgot to take off the tags that said wheelsnext. woohoo. i got some 18x7.5" RS Limited Limixs wrapped in Toyo Proxes!!!!!!!!! they arent Volk's but i think theyre pretty damn nice. im so excited. i really feel bad now though... i hope my parents dont find out that i know :( http://www.wheelsnext.com/prod...rge=1

How old are you? If you don't mind. Wish my dad knew what Volks were. Hes 53, although, I have taught him what drifting is, and all about other things in the import world. You must be rich.

LOL JDM I know you have commented on some of fly's posts. He bought his son a 240sx for 50 dollars. They spent time fixing it up, kid got a bit ambitious and curbed it really bad. Now he has to keep 4.0 and do repair work on the car. This man obviously loves his kids a lot. I think it is cool that he can do what he does and he also participates in the stuff with the kids instead of simply giving them something and ignoring them. Wow that was a lot longer than I thought. Well thats a summary of fly's posts for you JDM. :D

flyfishz is 43--- 3 kids8 year old duaghter-- she is too perfect-- makes the rest of us look bad

11 year old son---dec 25 will be a yamaha 125 pilot

16 year old son ---240 driver--- smacked up his Volks... currently swaping his SOHC Auto for a DOHC 5 speed.. adding the eibachs and KYB adjustables next week.--- the $50 car has cost over $2500...but it has been a fun project...even with the curbing setback...

and yes... flyfishz has been known to make a dollar or two...and yes I know what a T-Rex is....

Awww.. thats nothing!

One year, I opened all of my presents early in the morning.. and taped them back up. I knew everything that I got before my parents woke up. Refraining from peeking at christmas presents is the ultimate test of will power...

Well Im 17. And they didnt just go out and buy me some. ive been asking for rims since i was 15 before i even had a 240. But ya this is the best present ive gotten. this is the first time since i was like 10 where im not gonna be able to sleep xmas night. i wanna go throw them on and see how they look. im not worried about acting surprised because i still will be. and my dad has kinda hinted that thats what im getting so he wont be astonished if i knew. im just worried about him noticing that the box has been opened. :( i used a nail gun but you can still see the holes where i opened it the first time. and i really was getting a drink at 2am :) im an insomniac

That would suck if they were actually something else inside and you had your heart set on tires. Or it turns out they're gifts for someone else...hehehe

I never once, ever searched or found Christmas presents early. I was 4th out of 5 kids, so by then my folks knew all the tricks.

I know my kids have been looking, but they're at the age where they don't believe (or think they shouldn't) anymore.

Enjoy

Well, I got a used electric stove for christmas for my new lake house from my dad. He asked me if this was ok for a gift, but what was I going to say? no? I know it's the thought that counts, but dad always gets me things I need, for once I'd like to get something I "want". hehe

I got him a new craftsman upright air compressor he's been wanting for his shop, I loved seeing his face when I told him to look out the window and he saw it in the back of the truck. He kept making comments about it the rest of the day. I haven't seen him the happy to get something in a long time.:D

I've had a great Christmas though, I spent a LOT of money on my girl and it was well worth it. But I got another S14, air ride for my S10, and a yamaha blaster. Even though I bought all that stuff for my self.:D hehehe

My girl got me that new linkin park DVD, that thing rocks!!

Look at it this way, you must be a good son to get a present like that right?
