I know that these are both factory options on 2010 models. I was just wondering if anyone who has them knows how they are wired up? Are there ready 194-type sockets already in place for them?

yes, 194-type sockets already in place for them. Make sure you get for the convertible as these are different for coupe.

Thanks for the info! I don't plan to use OEM at all, but whatever I get will have a 194-type connector already in place.

it's called interior accent lights, I have installed them (comes with all the harness and instructions) makes interior real very nice/elegant. About $100+

Ah. Ok. the harness is not there either. That's what I was wondering. I thought he was saying buy a bulb, put it in and bam uhave the lights. I thought that was too easy.

Wish it was that easy! However, you can find pre-wired LED tubes or flexible strips with 194-type socket on the end of the harness. That should fit nicely

True, but $139 for a single LED, single color (blue)? I can get a complete kit with 60+ LEDs, millions of colors for less....

Not sure if you're still interested, but I did my own interior accent lighting for around $20. I bought four 1x led strips from Vleds (http://www.v-leds.com/V-LEDS-5K-Pure-Wh ... 7-1-3.html), ran some wire back and front, and tapped into the glove box light circuit.

The lights are just the right amount of dim to not be distracting at night, but bright enough to find something without the dome light. Easier getting in and out of the backseat at night too.

Install took me six hours because I didn't know what I was doing, but you cant beat the price.

:bigthumb: Look nice almost the OEM accent lights but spending 6 hrs to install - OEM takes about an hour but over all cost is about the same if you have the time. :gotme
