ChicagoLand has a LOT of potential as a meets scene. If we can make it work here in Kentucky, you guys can make it work in Chicagoland.

I know man, I'm like so sad my baby is sick..:( I feel its my fault I screwed it up.

I bought my J about 1 1/2 years ago from this old guy in Deerfield (I think thats where it was). I bought it with almost 41K miles. Its 99.99% flawless. lol besides the transmission. Even the mechanic was like its in a really good shape for a '93. The mechanic was like its a really nice car. Doesnt it make you feel good. I just kind of feel stupid right now. :( Later...

Thanks man, My J is a beige with tan leather...it looks so beautiful. When I went to look at the car when I was buying it, I fell in love with it. When I wash my J30, it just shines. You can even see the glare. What about you? What is your color combo?

I wish I had mods in it. I am looking for some. Hopefully I can find them. Where did you get yours from? How much did you spend? How much power are you running now? Can you feel the difference? This dude always gives me crap about how he can beat my J with his ES300. I hate that car. Then this dude with a ~'99 3.2TL. I wanna beat his car.

I am going to call around tommorow for prices on rebuilding the transmission. Hopefully then I will know what am I going to do. Later man...

ive got a black on black, its great except for some retarded dings from parking lots even though i have always parked it 1000 spaces from everyone.

so far, i have some fog lamps, white face gauges, a switch console in where the cupholder is, pushbutton ignition, a cold-air intake c/o K&N filter, some carbon kevlar brake pads and slotted Cadmium plated rotors...

working on finishing my gauge pod (fits 3 white face indiglo autometer gauges where the center clock and AC vents are)...just need the boost/vac gauge...also working on a reversing licence plate mechanism, (james bondish).

battery is going in the trunk and AC might just have to come out in my quest for supercharging this beast. time will tell, but its gonna happen, one way or another.

forget the ES300, its fwd, and i doubt it could even take a J30, unless your talking a 2000+ ES. its got nothing on the J30.

99 3.2 TL will take a stock J30... but not one pushing 300 HP at the wheels.

maybe in a year or two we will have some sleeper J30s on our hands here,

take it eay

Hell yeah thats what I'm talking about...everyone thinks that my J is some slow piece of crap. It makes me so mad. I want it to be a sleeper too.

I always have wondered if I can make my dual exhaust. I dont know why Infiniti didnt do that. I mean they already have exhausts coming from both sides. They just combine them together in the end. Anyone ever do it? How much do you think it will cost me to do it?

Also, is there a shop around here that would sell Infiniti upgrades?

no shop is going to be selling infiniti (especially J30) upgrades around here, or really anwhere..any time soon. too bad, but the demand is way to low.

dual exhausts has definitley been done, any custom muffler shop will do it for you. i think diamond J30 has such a system, and maybe chris (mayhemJ30) does too, i forget his whole setup.

infiniti opted out of the quad exhausts to make the car a bit more "refined" <--just a guess.

Does it increase or decrease horsepower by doing this? Also, how much do you think it will cost me? Later...

i would say that since our exhaust is so quiet, it could be freed up a little. (although i have heard the stock system is very tuned.) any increase or decrease in HP would likely not be percieved. It could cost you anything between 200-500 dollars depending on how much of the exhaust you changed and what kind of components (aluminized steel vs. stainless) and bends (normal vs. mandrel). a custom mandrel-bend stainless steel could cost up to 1000 dollars from the cats back. If you even know of a shop around here that does mandrel/stainless work, let me know...ive looked around and all weve got seem to be cheapo joints...i think ill have to go to a place in the city or a motorsports place to get it done.

address your questions to diamond, he has experience with the duel exhausts c/o borla mufflers...
