Whats stock block ? Stock pistons / rods /crank ?

Or just the block itself ?

It can be done if the car hooks and is light enough...

600- 700 hp can be done on an all stock RB26 motor.

yea stock internaly.. stock crank, rods, pistons.. MIGHT put some cams in it.. but prolly not at first..

600hp shouldnt be hard.. auto turbo400 transmission, 2650lb car, and some nice tire.. i should be able to squeek out a 9.80 at like 142.. still along way to catch up to the steet supras out there.. the one here in vegas went 8.89 @ 155.. just hard to compete with them.. they got some nice money behind them.. maybe one day ill be able to pick up a sponsor.. and be able to build the motor right and make some big power and be competetive with that..

sean.. ur car went 10.7 totaly stock right?? stock turbos? and some nitrous?

Big Bird went 10.8@ 132 , 10.7@137 in Palmdale . On the dyno 612 rwhp 1.5 bar 2530's and nitrous. Later with 2540's and nitrous 654 rwhp.

Mike F from Drag Sport did 763 whp in his R33 - stock internally. SP did 700 whp stock internally.

Dont worry about the cams. You dont need them. Better to run some more spray - or more turbo.

The RB is not bulletproof though.

Turbos are Twin RX-6 ...

Injector - the only way to flow is 1000cc

EMS - Is a Power FC.

If the motor is out of the car - few suggestions.

1) Change Rod bolts - ARP - VG30 bolts

2) Metal headgasket.

What motor is it ? R32 /R33 . Stock oil pump drive on R32 is 1/2 the width of the drive on R33.

ARP also has mainstuds and headstuds.

First its mostly the crank drive that is the problem . A crank collar is available to widen the oil pump drive.

The difference between the stock oil pump and an N1 is the spring . Its not much more than stock - so when the motors out - and you dont know how many miles are on the motor - better to replace it with something - even if just slightly better. JUN /Nismo /Greddy pumps are stronger - but about $1000.

During USCC it was not an oil pump failure. It was G loading that caused the oil pump to suck air and supply no oil to the bottom end. The next motor has extra capacity in the pan . Extra restriction to the top of the motor. Extra Nismo baffling in the pan. Accusump.

no, he is not a forum member although he has read this post. He's just a good ol boy that likes fast cars if you know what I mean. Although Nate did a lot of work on the car, the creator of this car is a performance enthusiast who definitely knows a lot about pushing the limits. He is the same guy that swapped an SR20DET into a 93 RX-7 and had the car featured in Modified Magazine. You may remember that car. It made 545whp and went 10.50 @ 139 at Moroso.

Sorry for the confusion. What I was wondering is what is the fastest RB25 swapped 240 with a completely stock engine, to include head and block. basically just the longblock. I don't care about all the bolt-ons.

There is no doubt in my mind this car will go 10s easily. The boost was light at 21psi when it made 526. We are going to change the exhaust housing on the turbine for a little better spool. You can hear it lag a little in second if you listen to the video closely.

So what kind of improvements could be seen from swapping the suspension out for lower stance and shock adjustability?

if you are drag racing it is hard to beat the factory suspension unless you go to something like an Drag Shock, which is specifically designed for drag racing. Most of the aftermarket coilovers which are stiffer are great for road racing, drifting, and better handling but suck for drag racing.

Yeah, stock suspension with the front swaybar unbolted is about the best drag suspension you can get! Kinda crazy, but true; Derek Greaser ran a 10 second run in his s13 with like 375whp(I think) and stock suspension...

11.11 is awesome!

Anyone Know what the T-61 uses for the exhaust side? I just looked up the compressor specs and it flows 62/lbs min. Just wondering what is used for the exhaust side.

the t61 a/r varies on the exhaust side, AFIK it's availble in .68, .70, .84, .96. i think the 62/lbs-min could be the 61 trim.

Nice run with that car! I have a friend with a 524whp KA24DE-T that would love to see this. He ran an 11.5 at 130mph. think I'll turn him on to this. Oh yeah, your car has plenty more left in it as well. Great job;) .
