well im now on my 4th ignitor in the past 1 1/2 years and i didnt have my first one go out until i installed my gizzmo launch interface, i wired it exactly to the install sheet for the rb26 and it works when i turn it on like its suppose to but out of the blue about once out of every 3-4 months or so my igniter would start to miss under boost or just go out completely. i replace my coils with brand new splitfire coils and new plugs and when the gizzmo is turned off there is no resistance/ohms like a normal wire between the input and output wires on the gizzmo. the car runs very smooth and pulls hard when the ignitor works fine. so the wiring is all 100% correct. i just have no idea what else could cause this.

Hmmmm, Kinda sound like the same issues im having except im on the s2 rb25, I don't have an ignitor, Mine seems to blow the spark out of the coils, Or so it seems, But I have not UnHooked the Gizzmo completely and tried it on the stock electrical system yet. Maybe you should give that a try.

The First Gizzmo I bought was a bad unit, it would Misfire and loose a cylinder under idle and sometimes on revs, I checked the wiring 100times nothing out of place.

They sent me a new unit and it worked perfect, Until my last visit to the track, The unit seems to activate right and it misfires the engine the same, But im blowing spark out under boost BAD. I assume its my coils, Im on stock ones. But im going to Upgrade to the Splitfires soon.

have you tried a Lower boost? I put mine back on 7psi and it ran fine. So it seems to be a spark issue on mine. But i have had Trouble in the past with the Unit. Gizzmo was very helpful when I had my problem, They worked with me very well, I would suggest giving them a call and seeing what they suggest.

my guess is it's the plugs. they get fouled when you 2 step on them like that. probably need to just change the plugs a lot more frequently.

seems like more and more people are having problems with there 2-step. What about the pulsar plugs that just came out. They are suppose to have a better wasted spark design even doe there about $140 bucks for 6

Well I could buy 5 sets of my spark plugs for that much LOL, I would rather not spend that kind of money on plugs. To me not worth it, They all are eventually going out.

Yea we I bought two, one was bad, Had to close the gap on the plugs to get it to work right, after while it started to act up. Get an Ignition amp to fix the prob.

IGN amp? What did you buy that helped?
