ok so ive been messing with this dam* rb for weeks now, and it seems like im making no progress. . the car idles on 6 cylanders, when i go for a drive after trying to start the thing for 15 minits, it cuts in and out a cylander, or spark, whatever. so for a second the car will come 'alive' and then it will bogg sputer and hit 5 cylanders. over and over. ive unsheathed the igniton harness and looked. . i have a j30 chip also and i have compared harnesses with a normal rb harness. the only thing different that i can see, is that there is an extra pin on the plug witch is just a ground. .
heres the wierd thing. . every clip has a power, ground and signal wire. each wire from the ignitor plug goes to one clip. but the #1 coil clip has the signal wire connected to the second plug on the harness??? none of the other ones do.
. because of that wire, its frying my #1 coil pack. . i dont kno if this makes sense but i need info. plez. .. thank you
