ignition trouble

Car: 1995 240 sx with sr 20 swap

Hey guys I have a 1995 240sx with an blacktop sr 20 it was running fine and then a couple of days ago the engine just wouldn't start. I have tested to see if I have spark by putting a screwdriver in the coil and holding it by the block and having my buddy crank the engine from the inside of the car. It has NO spark but the engine still cranks can anyone point me in the right direction?

did you make sure the timing chain didnt snap?

i dont think the timing chain snapped ill check it though. someone else told me to check the crank position sensor but i dont know where it is.
