since ive been driving my S14 it seemed like in the low rpm it lacked torqued, until around 3000rpm when you could feel it kick up more. so i checked it with my timing light today and found with the TPS plugged in it was at like 23-25 degrees and with it unplugged even higher. right now i have it set at 20 degrees with the TPS plugged in. is that correct? or is it suppose to be 20 degrees TPS unplugged? thanks

KA24E or DE ? Regular or mods or swap?

Best bet is to check the FSM for your engine and set the timing as directed.

NO FSM? use the search button at the top of the page.

It is insanely hard to say yes to a question that has been answered a thousand times. The answer is yes. Now download a FSM for free, it has more info then you will need. Good Day.

I COULD NOT answer that question as I own a KA24E SOHC and the timing is set differantly for the DOHC and the SOHC. II told you where to find the answer. You can find plenty of listings for a FREE downloadable FSM by searching.

Sorry for trying to help!
