Ignition Timing (quick question)

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Hi, I just need to know which direction to turn the distributer to advance the timing on a KA24DE. Is it clockwise (toward firewall) or counter clockwise (toward front of car)? Thanks.

think about it. look at which way the rotor spins while cranking, then figure out which way to turn the cap in order to make the rotor hit the spark plug connection sooner or later. this seems more fun than telling you. you will learn more...
