ignition!!

I wanted to know if taking out the ignition from a 95 240sx requires you to have the key? Or would I be able to take it out just by unbolting it?

So I'm assuming you lost the key which is why you want to replace the ignition. What about the doors, they use the same key? If they do, I'd just call a locksmith and get them to make you a key, costs about $85 dollars. Much cheaper in my opinion. If it's still original locks, even the dealer can do it with your vin. But if the lock is damaged, yes, you can but you will have to drill out the bolts that hold it to the steering colum as they are sheared off when installed at the factory.
