Ignition systems

just wondering what kind ppl use or the best kind Ignition systems setup? Does any1 have jacob ICE pak or any jacob ignitions?

I have MSD 6AL with SS Blaster Coil pack... as for jacobs... I have never touched their systems yet, I don't think it would hurt to upgrade from stock.

Jacobs is ok.MSD is good, and Accel is good.

Some other off brands have good and bad qualities.

i've never dealt with jacobs, but if you do a search on the internet you'll be surprised at how many people do not recommend them.

Ive been searching I readednot that much bad about their ignitionsall ive encounters wasjacob customer service is shady but this was 1997-1998which i was reading on a mr2 forum, Rx7 forum, & dodge Dakota forum.but most the ppl used it were happy with it..some just have no clue and returned it or unhappy..

The jacobs unit just doesn't have all the extra features of an accel or MSD.They aren't necessarily bad, just not as upgradable with little extras that you might want at a later time.

I got nology wires and a nology coil, works real good for the money...I actually felt a difference, but I might end up redoing it with MSD...but probably not for a while.-chet

MSD-6ALs work just fine. I use an Accel blaster coil with it. But, Jacobs are supposed to be the best. A friend had one on an MR2 turbo.

I have Jacobs and It seems to work really good. I bought it used and so far its working fine.
