nistech,How do I go about switching the ignition switch on the column? It looks like 2 strange looking bolts?

if you are just replaceing the electrical portion you dont need to remove the break away bolts. just the phillips little screw. if you are doing the lock cyl portion you need to use a punch and a hammer to unscrew it enough to spin it out with the tip of your finger. the 8 MM head is designed to break off when it is installed thats why there is no head on it. anti theft feature

Well isn't that cute. lol might do whole column to make it easier. Damn all this just to make an annoying headlight switch hopefully work better and keys to match. geeesh

they spin pretty easy if you get the right angle on the punch.

I'm just replacing whole column. Maybe someday I'll do the cruise control but for now guess not. Thanks
