Ignition switch

looking for an ignition switch for a 72 Pl 521

Starter just clicks when trying to start, sometimes it starts.

Have changed started twiced but still have the same problem

I don't know if theres a relay some were on the wires.

I'm not ready to give up and put in a universal switch from

the local parts store.

Anybody encounter same problem, or have a solution, or have a

good switch for sale, let me know

Have you tried replacing the battery? Had a similar problem on a buddy's chevy truck. Figured it might be the starter but it turned out being the battery.

New battery was installed before the started.

Ive been there too on my 74 620. Use a test light to see if theres power going to the existing ig. switch. Make sure the power wire going to the starter is snug. Those replacement switches are only $10 so why not hook it up just to see if that fixes the problem ?
