ignition switch replacement / worthless alarm

well my s13 ignition switch is a mess keys falls out button doesnt work worn beyond belief and may be causing electrical issues. i dont know if ill find a used one thats any better. stock is $160 + labor.

are there any other alternatives? aftermarket, s14, some sort of reliable bypass? im gonna go look up some posts i saw on a push button setup.

also there is an alarm wired in i have no literature or remote for it so i keep it off but i have a feeling itll get in the way when the switch is replaced. only local alarm/stereo place is a suspected rip off. any ideas how to approached getting it removed.

Yikes if you're afraid of theft, don't get a push button. I'd just change the key cylinder and call it a day. Those things are a pita to get off unless you're careful and cut it off.
