Hi i have a 1997 300zx versionR and im wondering if anyone can help, I have a new ignition light and cable to replace my old one that had no bulb or cable, I can't find the connection on the car harness under the steeringcolumn. Is it possible my car never came out with the light wire part? Thank you if anyone can help

Nissan doesn't generally use generic harnesses with unused connectors taped-back. If the car didn't come with a backlit key from the factory, then chances are very great that there's no connector.
