ignition problem

I have a 1995 240sx with an blacktop sr 20 it was running fine and then a couple of days ago the engine just wouldn't start. I have tested to see if I have spark by putting a screwdriver in the coil and holding it by the block and having my buddy crank the engine from the inside of the car. It has NO spark but the engine still cranks can anyone point me in the right direction?

Check the crank angle sensor, coils and spark plugs.

Are there any check engine codes?
