car wont start:

recently was given to east auto electrics and they put in a new alternator, relays, ignition system. come home and 4 days later i was at the same place i was, battery is drained. [or atleast there is no power enough to even keep on the lights in the car.]

so i know its not the alternator or relays, i even know its not the clutch start button.

here are the cases:

i bought this car and when i got it, it came already battery relocated from the front passenger side to now the driver side. [its not even attached safely to the chassis] in this case the guy decided to throw on a stupid intake system that uses the availabe space from the previous battery position.

i also installed a pioneer stereo system[ just the head unit] to the car, without using harnesses or adapters, i just snipped the wires and soldered them together, [i know i did it right cause of the guide i looked at for all the colors and matching.]

i remember hearing from pepboys when i went and got a battery from them, the original battery is bigger? i know its a standard 12v. but someone mentioned about the battery i was getting [ cause when i found out about the battery drainage i took the drained battery to pepboys, which told me that. The thing is if i got that battery it wouldnt had fit in the space where it is assigned by the previous owner, so instead i took the battery replacement for the one that was in the car.

I know now that its not because of the normal cases: corrosion on battery terminals, short in the engine harness, altenator [cos it worked fine for days], ignition system, clutch pedal button[idk what u call it]. i will double cehck on the stereo system though. and blown fuses are not a case here.

Question: Do you think because of the smaller battery there is a problem of the amps? And this could be the reason why it isnt being charged at night and instead draining fast?

in this case ill be buying a regular intake system that wraps in front of the motor fan and stops on the drivers side, instead of the one i have now that stops at the passenger side where the battery should be.

[btw the way that stupid asian ricer] *no offense to asians cos im asian myself, but damn. the way he did that relocation looks shady as hell. im thinking its the battery itself, and that i should relocate and position it back to normal, and it might work because of the correct size or w.e of the replacement amp for the 240sx and not some other gay crap.

can someone please tell me why the battery size of the car would matter?

and also i heard about "a good grounding place". Supposedly you cannot relocate a battery on painted surface [like the chassis engine bay, where my battery is now.] ?

why does that matter?

and what difference is in different amps?

is it just the size? or amps? i thought they all give out 12v.

anyways this is pissing me off, my first car, and im running into so much problems.

please help me!
