ok so the key and tumblers in my ignition are shot. i would like to know if #1 anyone has the wiring diagram for this, and #2 is there any kind of theftlock on this column. 1995 maxima se.

what i want to do instead of spending mad money on a new set and getting angry installing it plus an extra key just bypass it with a pushbutton starter, relay and ignition on switch i already have from my racecar i just parted. i never even had a key in my camaro and to start my max i have to jiggle the key to hit the tumblers a bunch. its really annoying and sucks when im trying to rush for a fire call. thanks

don't our cars have an immobiliser meaning it wont start without the right key? - not to be mixed up with a chipped key though. but i'm not sure, you might have to replace the cylinder.
