Ignition Problem....I did search too.

When I go to turn the car off and pull the key out the car keeps running! Its a 91 HB with a blacktop sr. Anyone with ignition wiring experiance out there?

how long does it keep running? does it have a turbo timer?

No turbo timer and It will run until I decide to stall it out. And once I stall it out I still need to remove the positive battery cable to get the electronics to turn off inside the car. I'm thinking, if I could get a picture of the wiring of the ignition switch under the dash from someone else I'd prolly be able to figure it out.

who did the butchering of the harness? alarm?

I'm guessing the last owner did the butchering. And it did have an alarm but I unplugged it cause a fart would set it off.. There are a couple cables I'm unsure about. I'm gonna take pictures today and maybe I can compare mine to someone elses whos car shuts off lol.

No one can hook me up with a picture of their Ignition switch wiring that's beneath the steering column??
