ignition on 12 volt source

I am installing a electric fan in a 91 Nissan hard body with the Ka24E engine . What would be a good constant Ignition on 12 volt source . If anyone did a electric fan install can you hit me up with some info on what would be a good source.. thanks.

good source for what??? I have the same truck and i used a relay that was hot from the battery all the time and ran the swith to turn them on on the accessory fuse so that they could only be turned on when the igniton was on.

Yeah I was going to do it like that too but heres the thing.. I got a relay kit that has the relay and temperature probe.. Mine kicks on at 185 and shuts of at 160.. I just got them done today.. I was going to repost and say that I found a good plug in source.. well I just ran back and spliced into the Cig lighter wire.. That way its a key on 12 volt and theres nothing to take power away from but the lighter.. they work nice. I got a dual fan setup. the harness kit only runs about 30 bucks.

not bad for the harness kit. thought about getting one but decided not too. Im also running duel fans not sure what CFM though. They do keep it cool when its hot but that could be also the really small radiators that the d21's have

man nice truck. Wish mine was that good looking. my trucks seen many better days. New rear end, hit a barrier at 55 sideways after hydroplanning, new timming chain geid after a weekend of fun(bouncing off the rev limmiter for a few hours) trans grinds in all gears popsout of first if i gun it and dont hold it in. Has a prob with ecu it wont get out of open loop so it has the ****tiest millege and the list goes on.

oh thanks man.. yeah i know about them times too..lol we all have fun.. I hit a tree doing 30 showing off drifting last winter in my driveway and totalled the hole front end.. thats when this whole project started.. I swapped out the cab and motor. and its on from there. I still have to find a bed. but shes comeing together.
