Hey guys, I have a 96' 240SX with an Injen Intake only. I'm asumming since I've improved my air intake, the computer is dumping more fuel in. I pretty much like my power bands as is. Would improving my coil output solve my excess fuel problem, due to the Intake? I've seen an Apex-1, Msd, and a unit that increases the coil output by 50% Only. Still Learning on performance. thank you for your ideas :-):ylsuper

Shouldn't have an excess fuel problem from just adding an intake. Have o2 checked. Any codes being stored? Make sure your car is in tip top shape before adding any mods. An intake just allows the engine to breath better. Kinda like when you have a stuffed up nose. When it is clear you breath alot better. Same with the engine. Intake just allows it to breath better.

bj180sx: Thanks for the Info. I was told that I had excess fuel due solely to the addition of the Intake. The Car runs quite well, no hessitation at all any time. Oh by the way I spanked a highly modded Honda Civic SI in the Mid range.(waved as I went by) Looking for that next perfomance mod. under $300. Thanks again. :-):ylsuper

i would say exhaust... since your car is breathing better you need to get all that air out of the car... more air coming in... more air needs to get out.. so you have free flowing engine... then go with headers if you don't plan on swapping the engine.. or you could work onthe suspension but that is more than $300

Exhaust makes since. I seen quite alot of perfomance systems out there. how do I determine which one is right for me outside cost? Still have alot to learn about hoping up cars. Thanks :ylsuper

I would say light weght pulley. Get the smaller belts and replace the front seal if you do. ASP or Unorthodox makes them.
