I recently purchased a 96 240sx se. its 5 speed with the ka and everything is stock besides an intake and exhaust. after driving it home with no troubles I went to leave and when I was in second gear it fell on its face and wouldn't start back. no power to anything, wouldn't even crank. So I looked at the battery and tried rolling it off and it still nothing. I noticed the ignition fuse was blown, so I put a new one in it and it fired right up, ran fine. Then the same thing happened again, and again. I've had the car 2 days and I've went thru 4 fuses. I cant find a ground loose anywhere or any wires that look faulty. is there a simpler solution to this other than tracing down every wire? also the passenger side headlight has obviously been wrecked because its indented more than it should be and I noticed that the wiring harness runs right behind it. possibly a pinched wire/ any help would be appreciated because as of right now my car is at Wal-Mart parking lot with the windows down and no way to get them up. :wtf2:

You probably have a short somewhere in the wiring, which might explain why its so intermittent. Do a good visual inspection of the ignition circuit and if you can get a diagram measure resistance.

Could it possibly be under the dash? There's an aftermarket radio that was recently installed. If it wasn't grounded right would it effect that fuse?

I would pull it out and check it out. I have seen some hack job radio installs.
