Ignition Difficulties...

I have a Jacobs electronics setup... i have an omni coil, and an ignition coil amplifier. It worked fine until one night my car suddenly wouldn't start. The next morning i by-passed the omni magnet and just went straight to the distributor until i could get home and see what was wrong. The wires comming from the omni magnet to the battery look fine but the fuse on the wires blew, and so did the 3 i tried to replace it with... so is there a problem with the wires? or with the magnet its self?!

do an ohms check on the wires between each wire and ground if any of the wires that are suppose to be supply voltage are grounded thats your problem. if not locate the specs on your coil and do an ohms check and compare to your specs if out of range replace it
