Ignition cylinder not turning!

I have a 2009 Versa Hatchback w/6 speed manual transmission. The ignition cylinder won't rotate when the key is in. The steering wheel is locked so I can't jiggle it to release the lock. Is there a way to free/release the ignition cylinder lock?

Forget it. I fixed it. I had to jiggle the locked wheel and locked ignition cylinder for about 7 minutes...very hard. The wheel finally gave simultaneously with the ignition cylinder. Started the car several times to verify. The first few times, the cylinder caught a little while turning (maybe the tumblers?). After that, it was smooth.
