Ignition Coils

Single owner 98 Q with 140K miles. Cars has been flawless and as to be expected something is finally failiing. The dealer wants 2,400 to replace the ignition coils. I looked in the FSM for the test if the coil is good or bad. My question is should I replace all 8 at once or try to find the faulty coil? I am going to do the work myself. Other than brakes and tires did the valve cover gaskets last year and replaced most of the hoses.
