Ignition Coil Wiring

Hey, I was checking some of my wiring(for good or bad grounds) on my CA18DET and I tested the plug that connects to the ignition coils and spark plugs(on top of the motor). On the plug F12(as in the 200sx wiring diagram) i tested the L/R wire and it was grounded. I traced the L/R on the diagram and it goes straight from the Ignition Coils to the Ignition Coil Relay. It shouldn't be grounded should it? I also noticed that when I grounded the black(ground) wire from the Ignition coil relay, it grounded the L/R wire. When i disconnected the Ignition Coil black(ground) wire the L/R grounded. Maybe I'm reading the diagrams wrong but let me know if that sounds right or not. Thanks.
