by the way I am new to this forum and want to say that, I have a 1998 nissan pathfinder and have owned it for several years now and love it

I have am having distributor issues and narrowed it down to my ignition coil! Ok no problem, so I thought! I have no continuity on the ends witch tells me it is shot!! now when going to look for the ignition coi,seems that I have to buy a whole new distributor

why is this and where can i buy just the coil (cm1t-230) can only find it on e-bay!!!!!

You can't buy the ignition coil alone. I would not trust that aftermarket part on eBay. I would purchase a new distributor, cap, and rotor and replace the entire assembly.
