Iginition Module?

Anyone have problems with these not working? I just got the carb for my truck and got it all hooked up and started and it wasn't ideling right. We narrowed it down to the ignition module in the distributor. Went to Napa and they tested it and found that it wasnt working on the low rpm exhaust and intake side and high rpm exhaust side. It was only working on the high rpm intake side. I have heard these can be a problem. If so what is the fix?

Easiest thing is to change the dizzy. Had the same problem on my Z20. The module costed more than a used dizzy.
