So yesterday I changed my oil and after I finished my sr20 wouldn't crank..

Soo after figuring out what I did, I found that I unplugged my starter.

and after noticing many people on here having the " no crank" issue I thought about posting this thread,

Make sure before you post a thread that all 3 wires are properly plugged on your starter! As this little problem may be the answer to yours as it was on my 240!

this is what my problem looked like before. #2 was unplugged. therefore engine wouldnt crank.

picture after .

Hope this thread helps those who are having "crank" issues....

If you try this and no luck, then it is time for the new thread

if everything its plugged and you know your starter its good then check starter Relay!

before you go and spend on a new starter its a cheap/free check up.if you have a Ka you can use ones from Q45's and many others!

Haha a friend of mine's sr wouldn't start after I spun it out at the track, turned out the starter was ghetto spliced and came unplugged just like yours. We got towed off the track by a Miata, driver of said Miata is the one who realized the starter came unplugged.

I had the crank issue day before. I bought a new starter b/c the jackholes who tested it said "It sounds weak" but on the screen i watched the dam thing pass but figured well maybe I'm not infallible. turns out it was that little acrylic stopper on the clutch that disengages that safety so you can start it.

Yeah, when the ground isn't connected, electrical things tend not to work, uh-huh.
