If I was given $100k, and I had to buy a car with it, I would get this:Brand new Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Except I would get it black on black, with tinted windows. One of my dream cars.

I like the way you think.

While our purchase appreciates........

That would be cheating, and the benefactor would promptly take back the 100k. The rules said "to buy a car." (I know what you mean though, I'd put in a nice CD and never look back, but the rules did say "buy a car")

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLKExuHlQMQ&NR=1 This would be super amazing if you could get it for 100k! But I doubt that will ever happen so in that case I'd finish up my 240sx and buy a life's supply of tires and gas!

I like the E55 or the CLS 55 better.. They are alittle slower but have like 100 more TQ becasue of the super charger!

I was thinking of getting an 03-05 E55 amg Next... I want black on black with the pano roof or the sliver on black with the pano roof!

I sat in the CLS AMG at the Chicago Auto Show, amazing car.

If you're really thinking about the E55 as your next car, I say go for it. I think they're amazing.

What's weird is that the pano roof is the only option that I would not want on the E.

Of course appreciation for a very desirable, highly collectable classic car like the 1958 Ford is not unheard of

I'd definately have to spend the $40,000 on the Ariel Atom and the other $60,000 on tires, Fuel, and track fees! Since you're not going to let me invest it, then I'm going to just go for the fun factor! This video shows how mean this thing is...

If you want a bike, maybe this would interest you.If could find a used one...new they are 175k, it might be 100k used.Jay Leno has one. He describes toasting the front of an Infiniti that kept trying to get closer to see what he was riding.

Definately would not want a donorcycle... If you own a bike, then you have a "story" where you almost bit the bullet... The numbers are eventually going to catch up to you in a bike and you will have a bad experience... the only factor is how bad is the experience going to be... not willing to take that chance! 10 years ago... another story.

I think I'd have to go with a used 911 Turbo. (Cause obviously, $100k isn't NEARLY enough for a new one!!)

I guess you have to really look fast to see it, because all I see is a red X.

Wow... that's odd. I use Picasa, and usually don't have any problem with photos. I'll have to look into iServe and fix that little error! Thanks.

Ok... fixed with Photobucket. Is it visible to all now? (I can see it, but then, I was able to see the first one too!)

if i had 100k, i'd either:

1) modify my G2) build a fortress of legos3) get enough ingredients to bake a huge birthday cake and/or consume one...4) get an STI if i had enough money left over from #1
