... you need only to go to the Interwebs. I was killing some time by researching a part (windshield) for my Z. I came across some other car forum and a post caught my attention. Now we all have to start our learning curve somewhere; but, this one put a smile on my face:

Double Post deleted.
Funny stuff all right, but it also reminds me of me asking computer questions to my IT lifetimer buddy...point is we do have a rather odd but significant skill set as DIY car guys/gals, and I enjoy being able to help out with info I've learned or was shared with me by others here long ago.

Let us not get too philosophical now. Have some fun. Try to envision the reply's which would have been made had the same post been made on this site.

1. Check for green corrosion?
2. New style or old style PTU is a good indicator?
3. If the factory wheels are on the wrong side then it's front wheel drive?

Yes i know that even if it had been made on this site we would not have been so cruel ... still funny though. The double post was because I tried to edit the first post. The edit was to suggest that this owner and a 24 year old 300ZX was perhaps not the wisest choice for a car.

Gotcha, and I agree that sometimes tact does get difficult when the questions get redundant.
Maybe we should start a thread (or continue this one!) like the craigslist thread with funny problem posts and questions, just for some safe fun with what is a common (most common?) topic for our cars- maintenance, maintenance, and more maintenance! :chuckle:
