Maybe a little off topic... but anyone have an opinion about Criswell Nissan near Gaithersburg?

At the moment... i'm going to get the last of my free stuff (remote and key program) then not deal with them anymore... part of this is the distance for me... i'm in odenton.. soon to be towson... so 45 min drive (not nescessarily a bad thing now i have my Z lol)

... the other is that i was told last week to come in to get the key programmed on the Z... turned up today and was told either go away and come back another time or wait 4 hours because i'd not made an appointment... so i bitched and now they probably view me as a d*ck but who cares... i came from the uk where people never ***** about bad service so all we get is bad service... i'm thinking of taking my dealership needs elsewhere...

also... so when is a proper meet gonna get put together... yeah its cold but i'd still be up for a meet up...

yeah thats the impression i got.... once i get my key/remote done i'm gonna look for another dealer.... anyone know if sheehy in annapolis are any good? or any good dealers around towson... it'll just be for servicing mostly...

if i want some mods doing i'll do them myself or get a tuner to do them.... someone who actually cares about giving good service and work...

Hey guys! Aother MD nissan here (got the Altima Coupe ) I'm rarely around as I'm currently working up in NYC, but would be down for a meet if I'm in town that day.

I've stopped by the Crisswell place since it's so close and wasn't filled with lots of confidence. I was asking about a part for the coupe and the guy brings out a schematic of the sedan and tells me they're the same but for the number of doors...I tuned out everything else he said.

Would love to have made it to the 370z show but won't be getting back until late on the 11th. What's worse is that I'm going to miss it when it gets to NY on the 13th too. Just my luck!

I'm out too, ran out of days off until Jan

As for Nissan dealerships in MD....

--Antwerpen Nissan on Security Blvd is horrible. They told me I knew nothing about my car when I went ordering from them. "There aren't any parts availible for a car that old anymore." And their parts manager insulted my choice in cars! Hell of a way to earn someone's business.

--Fredrick Nissan can get darn near anything. They service many many nissans, and do SR20 and RB swaps, among other routine and non-routine things Pretty sweet for a dealership. Plus they're always nice to chat with. If I have to call and they can't get me a answer or info on parts, they call me back as soo as they get answers.

--Len Stoler Nissan in Owings Mills/Randallstown is another great place. Their parts guys are easy to talk to and know how to find part #s ASAP. Serious about what they do, too. Kevin's a great source of info. Service writers are good too, except one fat, bearded fart. Really rude. However, the good techs make up for it.

--There's a dealership in Elicott city on rt.40 (can't remember the name). Those guys are great too. One of the dealerships members of my Z club use for servicing and parts. Another definite recommend.

I'm always on the lookout for another tuner place to take my business to, or just meet new faces and expand my rolodex

BTW, if there's ever a meet in MD, I'd love to get in on that action.

I wish I could go see teh 370Z but i am stuck @ work right now also master Yu where do you work?

Marisha: Not a problem on the dealerships thing. It helps to know where to go and who to talk to, and I like giving heads-ups so others don't deal with the same problems I did.

Nice 370z pics! I'm still kinda mad that I couldn't go to the 370Z viewing. I can't wait to actually drive one Oh well....maybe I can have my cake and eat it too, if I can get another s30. VQ35HR powered s30=

The word that keeps striking me is that its more "refined".... like they took the 350Z and have distilled all the good stuff into a 100 proof version of the 350

My wife is thinking of getting one.... she loves the Z but wanted more luxury so was looking at the G37... but now she's seen the 370 i think i've convinced her to get a Z.... cheaper for effectively the same car.... and much nicer looking imho...

On another note (as i'm new to Z's) i'm looking at using 10w 30 castrol syntec full synthetic oil... also can someone suggest a coolant... i've heard "any green one" but would like some advice thats a little more specific....

^ did you ever see my reply to your post I would suggest a BG additive to your coolant
